The Simmons Decatur Feed Mill Pet Food Plant was a unique project in that Walmart had some almost impossible time requirements on product delivery. This project was delivered in less than 6 months and put a whole new spin on design build. Our design team consisted of staff from the owner, the mill contractor and Broadway, who met every day to tweak design and produce drawings that kept the trades going 24 hours a day to produce a state of the art pet food manufacturing facility. Through absolute cooperation between owner, design staff, general contractor, and specialty trades, this project was a smashing success according to Walmart.
